Visa update, 6 January 2022:
- Only a tourist e-visa is available, valid for 30 days.
It lasts just long enough to land in Delhi, travel to Rudraprayag for the course, return to Delhi and leave India.
- Hopefully the previous 1 year tourist e-visa will be again available by the time the course starts.
- As of now, paper tourist visa is not available, as the visa agencies of the Indian embassies have not re-opened yet.
Information for travelling to India:
So far only charter “bubble” flights are entering India. Hopefully the regular international air traffic has resumed by the time the course starts.
Regardless of vaccination status everybody has to undergo a 7-day quarantine upon arrival. Hopefully the quarantine rule will be lifted by the time the course starts.
Given the reduced medical services in Rudraprayag, the course venue Monal Resort in Rudraprayag requests that only vaccinated or recovered course participants can stay at the hotel.

Other websites are fraudulent scams that take the payment but do not provide a visa.
